If you are a children's book writer, look for lots of helpful information from the Society of Children's Book Writers and Illustrators. You can find writing tips, visiting authors and illustrators, information about regional chapters and all their activities.
Children's Book Insider is a great source for writers. Their monthly newsletter can even be ordered online.
The Smart Writers website also has listings of visiting authors, as well as loads of information useful to writers.
Rocky Mountain Fiction Writers is a writer's organization that is "dedicated to providing support, encouragement, and education to writers of novel length fiction." For more information, look at their website:
